What should I bring?
How will youth be organized and grouped for activities?

Youth will be arranged into family groups of 12-15 people with an adult couple acting as the family group leaders. “Families” will travel together, visit sites together, and participate in other activities together. There will also be time for youth to socialize with youth who are not in their family groups.

Who are the leaders and family group leaders?

The stake youth leaders and several other adults from the stake will be the leaders and family group leaders.

How are we traveling there?

We are traveling in 12-15 passenger vans that will be driven by the family group leaders. There will be activities in the car as we drive there and back.

What about food?

All food will be provided. You may bring snacks if you’d like.

What is the camp we are staying at?

Seneca Lake Camp in Romulus, NY is a church camp.

What are the sleeping arrangements?

There are cabins at the camp that youth of the same gender will be sleeping in together. Adult leaders will be sleeping nearby, but not in the same cabins. There is a bathroom with showers in the female cabin area, and also one in the male cabin area. Youth will provide their own bedrolls/sleeping bags, linens and pillows.

How much does it cost?

There is no cost for the youth or leaders.

Can I invite friends who are not members of the church to come?

Any friends wishing to attend must first be approved by the stake youth leadership. Please send requests to Pres. Hardy (kariboulhardy@gmail.com) or Pres. Sanders (grantsanders6@gmail.com). We will begin reviewing requests in early May once we have a clearer understanding of space availability.

Can I bring my cell phone?

We are excited for a fun and full youth conference. We've designed a great experience that is phone-free. We recommend that youth choose not to bring their phones. For those youth who do bring a phone, those phones will be kept by adult youth leaders for the duration of the conference and will be returned to the youth at the end of the weekend!
